Principal's Message

Dear Saticoy Families, Staff, and Community,

It is with great excitement that I introduce myself as the new principal of Saticoy Elementary School. I am honored to join a school community known for its dedication to academic excellence, a supportive and inclusive environment, and the strong, collaborative relationships between staff, families, and students.

Since beginning my journey with the Los Angeles Unified School District in 1994, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a paraprofessional, classroom teacher, instructional coach, and APEIS. These roles have reinforced my belief that every student can thrive when supported by high expectations, meaningful instruction, and a nurturing, student-centered environment.

Saticoy’s mission—to provide all students with a comprehensive and meaningful education guided by the Common Core State Standards, while fostering responsible behavior, character development, and a commitment to lifelong learning—deeply resonates with my own educational values. Together, we will uphold these principles by continuing to cultivate a culture of accountability, trust, and high achievement for all learners.

In alignment with our school vision, I am committed to ensuring that Saticoy remains a safe, engaging space where students are empowered to become dynamic problem solvers, creative thinkers, and responsible citizens in an ever-changing world. Our shared goal is to prepare every student for success, whether in college, career, or life by promoting curiosity, resilience, and confidence.

As I begin this new chapter, my priority will be to listen, learn, and collaborate with all members of the Saticoy community. I look forward to building on the school's strong foundation and working alongside our dedicated educators to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student.
